Manny Lab
Manny Lab is a handful of small apps that I, Manny, write and run for myself on a server at home. They are not a product, they have no sign-up and nobody else uses them. This page describes what each one does.
Google user data. Manny Lab is the name of the Google Cloud project behind these apps. Its Google sign-in is used only by me, on my own Google account, so that my AI assistant can read and edit my own Google Sheets and Drive files through Manifold (below). How that data is accessed, used, stored and removed is set out in the privacy policy.
The apps
-
Ledger
Personal finance. Takes in my bank transactions, sorts them into categories with a rules engine, and shows spending, budgets, bills due, savings goals and a forecast of each account's balance.
Personal finance -
House Hunt
Property pre-screening for one household. Collects listings from a property site, adds commute times, the nearest station and broadband type, scores each home against the household's own criteria, and helps plan and record inspections.
Property -
Manifold
An MCP gateway. One server that gives my AI assistant a set of tools for my own services, each behind its own login. It is the only Manny Lab app that connects to a Google account, for Google Sheets and Google Drive.
MCP gateway -
Flightpack Hub
Picks films and series from my own media server into collections and copies them onto USB drives for watching offline while travelling.
Media -
Obsbot Portal
A web control panel for a USB webcam on the home server: pan, tilt, zoom, presets, subject tracking, image settings, and parking or sleeping the camera.

How they run
Every app runs on a server in my home. Each one sits behind its own login or is reachable only on my private network, so none of them are linked from here. There is nothing to sign up for and no account to create.
